FAQs

  • Where are we based?

We are based in Guildford and surrounding areas.
Please refer to our class timetable available to view on our website for more information on class locations.

  • Our Staff?

Boogie Pumps staff are extra special. They are carefully selected based on their experience, qualifications and the way they relate to your children. Our staff are energetic, fun but always remain highly professional and ensure a safe environment for your children. All staff are DBS checked and fully insured.

  • What should a parent expect?

We focus on involvement, education and confidence building more than ‘perfect form’. At Boogie Pumps we pride ourselves on providing a refreshing way for children to get active, get healthy and get dancing! Being active is incredibly important and we can’t think of a better way to make sure your children get their daily dose of exercise. We aim for your children to be beaming with happiness and brimming with confidence when you collect them after class.

  • How do I sign up?

Simply follow the steps on our easy to navigate website. Select the club or class you wish your children to attend, click the ‘book now’ button and this will lead you through to our payment portal.

  • What to wear?

Please avoid leaving your child to dance in their school uniform by sending them to school with a change of clothes.
We recommend comfortable clothes such as t-shirts, leggings & tracksuit bottoms as the best options. No special footwear required as dancing feet are best left bare!

Boogie Pumps T-Shirts and other uniform items are available to purchase, these are not mandatory however very popular.

  • What else do I need to bring?

A healthy snack, water bottle and of course…lots of energy!!

Please ensure that all items are clearly labeled with your child’s name.

  • What if my child misses a class?

Refunds are not available for classes missed by individuals. In addition to this, any “no class” weeks will be clearly stated once agreed upon by the venue/school & Boogie Pumps. These dates will already have been taken into consideration with your booking and outstanding balance to pay.

  • Our safeguarding policy

As a company we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment; your children’s safety is paramount.

In light of this, we have child protection policies and procedures in place, which we ensure all of our staff are well versed in.

Please note, on the rare occasion we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies where there is a concern about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our children are discussed with a parent or guardian first, unless we have reason to believe that such an action would be contrary to the child’s welfare.

If you are concerned about a child’s welfare, please record your concern and any observations appropriate to the situation and report it to DSL Hannah Frederick and Laurel Gardner. Do NOT conduct your own investigation.

If your concerns relate to the actions or behaviours of a member of staff then this should be reported immediately, so that we can assess the situation in hand and consider the suitable action to take.
